About the event

The Big Easy Open is played on the Grand Cypress Bayou course at Parc des Familles in Marrero, Jefferson Parish, outside New Orleans. The Houck Design course was the longest on Tour in 2026 at 12,370 feet, with tight gaps through cypress trees, and the event was the first DGPT stop in Louisiana. It returns to the same course in 2027 after an update plan that includes tree removals, fairway clearing, and several basket moves.

2026 recap

Gannon Buhr won MPO in a playoff over Ricky Wysocki after both finished at 11 under. Wysocki set the MPO course record with a 10-under 59 in round two and led by four going into the final round, but Buhr cut into the lead, holed a 90-foot birdie putt on 17, and won on the first playoff hole after Wysocki's shot to the basket landed in the pond. Isaac Robinson was third at 8 under. Holyn Handley led FPO from start to finish, set the FPO course record with a 6-under 62 in round one, and won by eight at 9 under over Valerie Mandujano and Lisa Fajkus.
