About the event
The Ledgestone Open in the Peoria, Illinois area is one of the DGPT's founding events, and the field rotates through Northwood Black, Sunset Hills, and the Eureka course. It began in 2011 as an unsanctioned local tournament and has been a four-round DGPT+ event since 2024, with a $150,000 purse in 2026. A partnership signed in 2026 keeps it on the schedule through 2029, and the 2027 edition runs about a week later than in 2026.
2026 recap
Luke Taylor won MPO at 28 under for his first career Tour win, one shot ahead of Gannon Buhr, after starting the final round four back. Buhr led by three going into the last day, but a bogey and a double bogey early let Sullivan Tipton and Taylor pass him, and Tipton's out-of-bounds double bogey on the island 17th handed Taylor a one-shot lead he kept on 18 for a 10-under 53. Eveliina Salonen started the FPO final round one behind Holyn Handley, took the lead by hole 5, and won by eight at 21 under over Ella Hansen, the first European FPO player to win Ledgestone.
